MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
Daily Data Entry: Enter daily voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) registration and laboratory data into approved MSF KoboToolbox and Excel tools within agreed deadlines. Check entries against source registers and confirm successful synchronisation; report backlogs or failed uploads promptly.
Client Codes and Confidentiality: Use only assigned unique alphanumeric client codes in the screening dataset. Do not enter names, addresses, or unconsented telephone numbers. Keep any separately authorised contact or code linkage information outside the screening dataset, accessible only to designated staff under the project protocol.
Data Quality and Duplicates: Check completeness, valid codes, date sequences, permitted values, and consistency across registration, testing, and referral records. Flag possible duplicates for review; do not merge or delete records independently.
Test Results: Ensure real-time, error-free recording of rapid test kit results (Determine and Uni-Gold RDTs), result categories (Positive, Negative, Indeterminate), age, gender, and referral status as logged by the testing nurses.
Secure Storage and Backups: Keep registers and paper forms locked and devices protected with approved passwords, encryption, and access controls. Use only authorised accounts, storage, and transfer channels; do not share credentials or send client data through personal email, messaging, or personal storage. Verify receipt and perform backups under the approved IT procedure.
Reporting: Compile and consolidate daily/weekly key performance indicators (KPIs) (e.g., total clients counselled, total tested, positivity rate, Discordance/Indeterminate rate, return rates for deferred results) for the HP Manager, MedCo, and Epidemiological team.
