JOB OBJECTIVE :

• Prepares and executes the installation of the delivered equipment(s) and system(s).
• Supervise pool of technicians during deployment and make sure requirements are delivered on time.
• Execute Level 1 preventive and corrective maintenance activities and support the engineers for Level 2 and Level 3 preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• The person should willing to work during weekends and during holidays.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Site Management and coordination

• Performs site surveys and contributes to Site Readiness Review
• Verifies that assigned work is in accordance with Customer requirements and is consistent with ithe nstallation schedule
• Takes part effectively in Customer equipment’s installation and configuration, unit testing, verification, and preparation for putting into operation
• Supervise daily site activities and lead the execution of security system installations as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate between subcontractors, technicians, civil teams, and the main contractor to ensure smooth workflow.
• Plan and schedule site work, track material usage, and manage on-site logistics.
• Maintain regular communication with project managers and engineering teams regarding site progress and issues

Technical Supervision:

• Interpret system layout drawings, cable schedules, and installation details.
• Oversee installation of CCTV cameras, access control devices, intrusion sensors, network cabinets, and structured cabling.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure proper workmanship and adherence to installation standards.
• Identifies and solves problems in a timely and cost-effective manner

Testing Support & Documentation

• Promptly informs the Installation engineer about any case when the installation and testing activity is not carried out properly
• Records the results of test activities in measurement sheets and prepares suitable reports
• Provides technical support to Customer, Thales or subcontractor teams for installation-related issues
• Assists Post Installation Check Out (PICO) and tests and commissioning activities as required, in coordination and cooperation with involved teams
• Contributes to the activities of Thales technical specialists to perform integration testing, troubleshooting shooting and commissioning testing when required
• Ensures the quality, security, and suitability of all work performed
• Test and Measurement Equipment calibration
• Daily reporting of system operational issues, identification, and PCR creation
• System monitoring through various monitoring tools and reporting on any deviations or defects

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• 4+ years of experience in supervising security system installations or ELV projects

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• A Diploma in Electronics or Communications is a  must and should be certified by the Saudi Engineering of Council (SEC)

PREFERRED SKILLS :

• Ability to supervise a team, delegate activities, and plan as per the work front available.
• Ability to demonstrate installation, commissioning & troubleshooting techniques.
• Performs basic configurations and knowledge on System configurations
• Able to calibrate and hands-on electronic tools to perform installation activities
• Able to perform preventive maintenance
• Able to prepare technical reports
